Pyrogenium is a homeopathic remedy that has multiple virtues. It can be used in case of infection caused by food poisoning. These poisonings can have several origins, including the consumption of spoiled food. In addition, it is an old drug that has been used since the end of the nineteenth century in biotherapy.
Presentation of the remedy
The homeopathic strain of Pyrogenium can be of animal origin (pork, beef) or human (placenta). It is obtained by the degradation of these materials which contain germs as well as pyrogenic substances. Pyrogenium comes in granules or globule doses. In this case, it contains lactose and sucrose. It can also be found in other forms such as mother tinctures or drinkable drops. It is a gentle remedy that can be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Indications for acute infections
Pyrogenium is recommended for treating acute infections such as ear infections, abscesses and bronchitis. It helps cure skin infections with a tendency to suppuration such as eczema, boils, wounds and folliculitis. Pyrogenium is also indicated for infected wounds, dental infections and acute suppurative processes for which the indication for antibiotic therapy is questionable. It can be given if you feel sore or sore, have pain in the eyeballs, and if you have a red, varnished, or cracked tongue.
Indications for chronic infections
Pyrogenium may be administered for chronic infections that worsen over time. They can be recognized by certain signs such as the dissociation between the pulse and the temperature. It is prescribed in chronic suppurative infectious states of sinusitis and fistulas.
Dosage for acute infections

This dosage is indicated when the patient's general condition is not yet altered. If there is no improvement after 2 days, it is advisable to go to a medical consultation. It is also advisable to combine Pyrogenium with another homeopathic remedy. Thus, the additive treatment consists of taking 1 to 2 hours after taking Pyrogenium, 5 granules of Hepar sulfuris calcareum 15 to 30 CH. For the associated treatment of dental infections, follow the absorption of Pyrogenium with 5 granules of Mercurius solubilis 9 or 15 CH.
To
treat chronic infectious states in the presence of suppuration, you should take 5 granules of Pyrogenium 7 or 9 CH every day. The dental infection can be relieved with 5 granules of Pyrogenium 7 or 9 CH, to be absorbed in the morning and evening for 1 week. In order to treat generalized infections, you can administer Pyrogenium 7 to 9 CH every 4 hours. Then, gradually space out the sockets according to the improvement in the general condition. Finally, combine the treatment of chronic infectious states in the presence of suppuration with Silicea 15 CH at a rate of 5 granules per day.
