The remedy can also be administered in case of fever accompanied by convulsions, hallucinations, delirium and photophobia, a fear of bright light often linked to eye diseases or meningeal inflammation.
Belladonna is also recommended in cases of infectious pathologies such as nasopharyngitis, non-strep throat, laryngitis, otitis or tracheitis. The medication may be used if the patient complains of a feeling of dryness in the mouth, throat, nose, eyes, or trachea. Belladonna also prevents the formation of pus in the event of an abscess when the inflammation is surrounded by a reddish halo and accompanied by a feeling of warmth and throbbing pain.
Inflammatory syndromes
As far as inflammatory syndromes are concerned, it is important to know that Belladonna is indicated in case of headaches and more particularly in cases of beating vasomotor headaches accompanied by redness on the face. It also helps to significantly relieve 1st degree burns characterized by congestive redness of the skin tissue, as well as solar erythema and sunstroke. Finally, Belladonna is ideal for alleviating symptoms related to radiodermatitis, a set of skin lesions resulting from long exposures to X-rays, radium or radioactive agents.
