Sticta Pulmonaria comes from a lichen that grows on the trunk of certain trees such as beech or oak. This lichen has lobed, red-coloured thalli from which the mother tincture is extracted. It can also be found on rocks in some mountainous regions of Europe. Used as a homeopathic remedy, Sticta Pulmonaria is marketed in the form of lactose and sucrose-based granules. But other forms can also be found such as ampoules, drinkable drops, lactose-based powdered triturations and suppositories.
