Formulated from the twigs of the leaves of the "Marsh Ledon" (shrub), Ledum Palustre is a homeopathic product used in the treatment of various ailments. Indeed, even if it is mainly recommended in the treatment of rheumatism, Ledum Palustre, also known as "Rhododendron tomentosum" or "Labrador tea", is also effective in treating other pathologies.
Traumatology
Ledum Palustre is recommended for homeopathic treatments in the context of traumatology. Indeed, this remedy is especially indicated in case of bruises or bruises following a blow or impact on different parts of the body, such as the eyes (black eye), fingers and toes (bruises following blows). Similarly, injuries that are caused by sharp objects (e.g. nails, needles), can be effectively treated with Ledum Palustre.
Rheumatology
But Ledum Palustre is mainly indicated in the treatment of rheumatology-related symptoms. This is because this remedy alleviates gout-related pain during times of crisis, as well as joint pain. Similarly, in cases of rheumatism, often accompanied by pain and inflammation with the cold, Ledum Palustre is suitable. Thus, Ledum Palustre is an effective remedy for the elderly, especially during cold periods when joint pain increases.
Dermatology
Ledum Palustre is also suitable for treating certain dermatological pathologies. This remedy is effective in eliminating acne rosacea pimples, especially on dry skin. But to treat swelling and wounds as well as pain caused by insect bites, Ledum Palustre is just as suitable. The effect of the venom can indeed be treated by this remedy, and the same is true of numbness.
Recommended dosages in rheumatology
The recommended dosages when treating with Ledum Palustre vary depending on the pathology. To alleviate joint pain, for example, 5 x 5 x 5 or 7 CH Ledum malaria granules are necessary (3 hours between each dose). And to prevent gout attacks, Ledum palustre 15 CH is the most indicated, at the rate of one to two weekly doses for 6 months.
Recommended dosages in traumatology
On the other hand, in the context of traumatology, especially black eye or bruising, Ledum palustre 5 CH, at a rate of 5 granules per hour, for 4 days is the most appropriate. To be preferred with Arnica Montana 7 CH, at the same dosage as Ledum palustre. On the other hand, to treat cuts caused by sharp objects, the combination with Pyrogenium 9 CH at a rate of 4 doses of 5 granules is the most appropriate.
Recommended dosages in dermatology
And to treat swelling during insect bites, the treatment combining Apis mellifica 5 CH and Ledum palustre 5 CH is effective, at a rate of 5 granules per hour (taken at intervals in case of improvement) for 4 days. On the other hand, taking Ledum Palustre 15 CH, at a rate of 5 granules daily during periods of exposure, can prevent insect bites. And to deal with acne rosacea pimples, a 3-month treatment of Ledum Palustre 5 CH to be taken morning and evening (5 granules per dose) is effective.
