The strain of the homeopathic remedy Cyclamen europaeum comes from a perennial plant belonging to the Primulaceae family, known as the Alpine violet. As the name suggests, this flower grows mainly in the Alps, but it is also spotted in the Middle East. The mother tincture of Cyclamen europaeum is mainly obtained from the tubers of this plant.
Neurology
Cyclamen europaeum is a homeopathic remedy mainly indicated for headaches. It is particularly recommended to treat headaches accompanied by vision problems and vertigo. In fact, the latter appear rather before migraines. Thus, before having a headache, the patient has the impression that everything he is looking at is blurry and he also sometimes sees double. Sometimes the subject experiences the sensation that everything around him is moving. As soon as these warning symptoms disappear, headache attacks appear. The pain is then throbbing and unbearable, especially in the forehead and temple and can extend to the jaws and teeth. Migraine is often accompanied by a runny nose.
Gastroenterology
Cyclamen europaeum is also prescribed in the treatment of certain gastric disorders, especially in cases of indigestion problems. The subject suffering from such discomfort suffers from dyspepsia, i.e. his digestive function is disordered. This is manifested by a set of symptoms, namely sour stomach sensations, nausea and vomiting, constipation problems or on the contrary, diarrhea. In addition, the patient complains of flatulence and belching. Cyclamen europaeum acts directly on each of these symptoms and helps to reduce the resulting pain. In addition, this remedy allows the patient's digestive functions to be restored as quickly as possible.
Recommended dosages in neurology
To calm headaches and migraines, Cyclamen europaeum 4 CH granules are generally recommended. The prescribed dose is 3 granules, to be taken every five minutes when the attacks are most acute. At the same time, the treatment should reduce the dizziness. In women, if migraines occur with the onset of menstruation, it is advisable to systematically take 5 granules of Cyclamen europaeum of 5 to 15 CH, morning and evening from the 20th day of each cycle until the next period.
Recommended dosages in gastroenterology
In case of indigestion, especially to calm nausea and vomiting, it is advisable to take Cyclamen europaeum 5 CH or 7 CH granules. If the pain is very violent, 3 granules should be taken every 15 minutes, then spaced out as the patient's condition improves.
