The homeopathic remedy Arundo Donax is made from the cane of Provence. Of oriental origin, the latter belongs to the Poaceae family. It contains indole alkaloid which is very rich in bufotenin and is therefore used in the manufacture of pain-relieving medications. Its mother tincture is prepared from its underground parts. Arundo Donax is usually used in the treatment of allergies that manifest themselves as unbearable itching of the palate and ears.
Indications of Arundo Donax in ENT
Arundo Donax is indicated for the treatment of seasonal rhinitis or spasmodic coryzas, which are caused by allergies and are manifested by itching or itching in the ears and palate. It also helps prevent hay fever and prevent it from developing into sinusitis or asthma. It is even effective in calming repeated sneezing. Arundo Donax can be administered at the beginning of the seasons in which allergies tend to appear, i.e. in early spring and/or summer.
Since
Arundo Donax is a homeopathic remedy rich in bufotenin, it can be used to treat inflammation of the respiratory tract. It is mainly used to calm the pain due to the latter.
Indications in ophthalmology
Arundo Donax effectively treats allergic conjunctivitis that accompanies allergic rhinitis or that is caused by an intolerance to pollen, dust or dust mites. Arundo Donax makes it possible, in fact, to limit the excessive tearing caused by this pathology.
Recommended dosage in ENT
In case of intense itching of the nose or palate, take 5 granules of Arundo Donax 7 CH, 3 times a day. And, in case of itching in the ears, administer 5 granules of Arundo Donax 5 CH, 3 times a day, as soon as the first symptom appears. In addition, to prevent a recurrent allergy, suck on 5 granules of Arundo Donax 6 months before summer or spring. And, to treat allergic rhinitis accompanied by nasal decongestion, use 5 granules of Arundo Donax 7 CH, 3 times a day until the symptoms disappear. If these persist despite taking the remedy, a medical consultation will be necessary.
Recommended dosages in ophthalmology
In order to prevent allergic conjunctivitis, take 5 granules of Arundo Donax 7 CH, every morning or evening, outside of meals, 3 months before summer or spring. And, in order to prevent excessive tearing due to the disease, take 5 granules of Arundo Donax 7 CH, 3 to 6 times a day depending on the severity of the disease.
