When to see a doctor?

An infection like pyelonephritis evolves in two stages. In the first stage of the disease's course, the infection only affects the bladder and will lead to cystitis. At this stage, it is recommended to consult a doctor to avoid the spread of bacteria. In the case where cystitis has been neglected, it turns into pyelonephritis and directly attacks the kidneys. In addition to urinary burns, the patient will have a fever and sharp pain in the back. As soon as the first symptoms of pyelonephritis appear, the patient should consult a doctor.
