Diphtherotoxinum is a very very dilute diphtheria toxin-based preparation known for its effectiveness against ENT disorders. It is used as an attack treatment, prevention and maintenance treatment. Its various forms (dilution, vaccine and biotherapy) allow a wide choice for better therapeutic effectiveness.
Diphteroxium is a biotherapy or nosode based on diphtheria toxin that is very diluted and energized according to the Hahnemann method. Although it is often associated with the treatment of ENT disorders, diphtheria toxin actually has a very wide field of action.
Indications
Diphterotoxinum is recommended for treating ENT disorders. Thus, it is effective against diphtheria, frequent nosebleeds, colds, bronchitis, angina pectoris, cough, diphtheria angina, choking, fetid murmur, tonsils, paralysis of the vocal cords or soft palate, nasal voice, hoarse cough and aphonia.
To
treat angina, administer Diphterotoxinum 7 CH. If you have a cold, take a dose of Diphterotoxinum 20 K. For laryngotracheitis, take 1 dose of Diphtherotoxinum 20 K on Sunday when you get up. To prevent problems in the ENT area, administer a dose of Diphterotoxinum 9 CH, 15 CH and 30 CH, to be taken together 8 days apart. As a maintenance cure, use 1 dose of Diphterotoxinum in 1000k instead. This dilution is to be taken every 2 months.
Acute and serous otitis is treated with 1 dose of Dyphterotoxinum 30 CH. Diphterotoxinum 9CH is also available as a homeopathic flu vaccine. To prevent diphtheria, give a generic diphtheria-tetanus or Diphterotoxinium-tetanoxinum 30 K vaccine. Diphtheria toxin is also useful in preventing possible reactions to diphtheria vaccination by taking a dose of Diphtherotoxinium 15 CH on the evening of vaccination. The biotherapeutic form of Diphterotoxinum is used as a background remedy at a dilution of 9, 12, 15, 24 or 30 CH, to be taken every 8 or 15 days.
