Ailanthus glandulosa is a homeopathic remedy of plant origin made from Ailanthus glandulosa, also known as Japanese False Varnish or Chinese Varnish. It is a tree belonging to the Simarubaceae family, native to Asia, and particularly to China and Taiwan. Used as an ornamental plant, Ailanso is also highly valued in traditional Chinese medicine because of its therapeutic properties. To make the remedy, the mother tincture is extracted from the leaves or twigs of the plant. Indeed, the leaves of the Ailanth contain a substance known to be effective in the treatment of many skin conditions, namely boils and abscesses, and would relieve itchy skin to the same extent.
Infectiology Ailanthus glandulosa is a homeopathic remedy usually prescribed in the treatment of scarlet fever. Scarlet fever is an infectious disease resulting from streptococcal bacterial invasion. It is characterized by red-colored rashes, appearing on all parts of the body. The subject with scarlet fever has a lingual enanthema, i.e. his tongue becomes rough and has a raspberry appearance. The first symptoms of the disease very often occur 3 to 5 days after the incubation period. The subject has headaches and fever.

For children with infectious mononucleosis, conventional medical treatment is required. Homeopathy is simply used as an adjuvant treatment to alleviate symptoms. To do this, let 3 granules of the remedy Ailanthus glandulosa 5 CH melt under the tongue, three times a day. In case of bacterial angina, Ailanthus glandulosa 9 CH is recommended at a rate of 5 granules every hour.
