Menopause is linked to the cessation of ovarian activity in women. It occurs on average from the age of fifty and causes some disturbances called menopausal disorders. Indeed, menopausal disorders can last for a year to prepare for the effective elimination of menstruation. During this period, the woman feels discomfort similar to menstrual syndrome but more accentuated. Although the pathology is not yet effective, the woman may display anxiety and irritability that are quite uncomfortable. This state can be harmful to her profession, especially since in most cases, she is still active. It is therefore more than necessary to reduce menopausal disorders that affect women who are still physically young but who are advancing in age.
Symptoms related to menopausal disorders
The list of symptoms related to menopause is long. The disorders vary depending on each woman's body. Generally, postmenopausal women suffer from hot flashes that manifest themselves as instantaneous and temporary sensations of heat, accompanied by heavy sweating. Other symptoms include weight gain, mood and sleep disorders, headaches and general fatigue, irritability on the edge, and a burning sensation in the hands and feet. Homeopathic treatment may be enough to relieve menopausal disorders. However, it becomes imperative to see a doctor when the disorders persist despite this treatment or if complications occur.
Preventing menopause-related disorders
A woman can ideally prepare for menopause by taking a few precautions in advance from the age of forty. A woman suffering from painful periods, for example, must undergo a background treatment to avoid serious aggravations during menopause. There are more than fifty homeopathic remedies, each one as effective as the next, and only a homeopath is indicated to prescribe them depending on the disorder. Most of them treat hot flashes with specific actions depending on the symptoms presented by the patient.
To
reduce hot flashes, Sanguinaria canadensis 200 K is often used, which also has the properties of soothing burning sensations. But if the hot flashes are sweat-free, the woman can be given 12 drops of Glonoin 12 CH at bedtime or Melilotus 9 CH. If the flushes are accompanied by sweating, the patient will take 30 drops of Belladona 15 CH at bedtime.
Fight against mood swings
To remedy mood changes, Lachesis mutus can be combined with the above-mentioned treatments. These medications are indicated for women who have a dark, changeable mood with a tendency to sadness. If she often needs air and can't wear tight clothes or suffers from pounding head, Lachesis mutus can provide relief. Sepia is also very effective in treating constipation with digestive disorders, dry skin and vaginal dryness appearing in menopausal women. These symptoms are often accompanied by pelvic heaviness and irritability which can make her quite pessimistic with apparent general fatigue.
When to see a doctor?
In the event of a worsening of the symptoms mentioned above (especially hot flashes) and isolated or repetitive bleeding, it is advisable to consult a gynaecologist without delay.
