Ovarian cysts are follicles that have turned into fluid-filled pouches. They develop inside the ovary and are often asymptomatic. In the majority of cases, cysts appear and disappear in a short time and spontaneously.
Presentation of the pathology
Ovarian cysts develop alone or in groups with varying sizes that can reach that of a lemon. They are caused by a hormonal imbalance with a dominance of estrogen levels. Rising estrogen levels can be caused by a number of factors, including prolonged stress, physical trauma or a diet that is too high in dairy. In women going through menopause, the risk of ovarian cysts developing into cancerous cysts is high.
Symptoms of ovarian cysts
To detect ovarian cysts, an ultrasound or pelvic examination must be done. The symptoms that accompany cysts are the sensation of pain or burning in the abdomen. Sometimes palpation sensitivity increases on the left or right side of the abdomen. Pain can also occur during sex or ovulation. Sometimes, cysts can burst in the pelvic cavity and cause severe pain as well as fluid and blood flow.
Homeopathic treatments
For the treatment of cysts of the right ovary, take Apis Mellifica 4 CH or 5 CH, 3 granules 3 times a day. For chronic ovarian cysts, opt for long-term treatment with Apis Mellifica 9 CH, 3 granules 3 times a week or Apis Mellifica 15 CH or 30 CH, 3 granules once a month. If the cysts are located in the left ovary, use Lachesis 4 CH or 5 CH, 3 granules 3 times daily. For a long-term treatment, opt for Lachesis 9 CH, 3 granules 3 times a week or Lachesis 15 CH or 30 CH, 3 granules once a month. During treatment, it is not advisable to take certain products such as mint, coffee or chamomile which can reduce the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies.
When to see a doctor?
Medical consultation with a specialist is necessary in the case of ovarian cysts associated with pregnancy. The presence of frequent pain in the ovaries is also a warning sign.
